About Me

I’m a planner living in Minneapolis and working in the Twin Cities region.  I’m a LEED accredited professional and a member of AICP.  I’ve had multiple years of experience in both the private and public sectors as a planner.

As I do this job, I get interested in a lot of things.  I like high-speed rail and slow food (and fast food, for that matter).  I like technology and simple solutions.  I like dense cities and wide open wilderness.  I’m fascinated by transportation: bikes, cars, buses, trains and feet.  I think a lot about our energy future.  I like to go to work to solve problems.  At my best I would describe myself as a polymath for the common good.

This is a blog about planning, sustainability, energy, technology, the Twin Cities and maybe even some politics.  All the opinions expressed here are solely my own, and do not reflect the views of my employer or probably anyone else.  Read, enjoy and let me know what you think.
